I don't remember the rangers typically is talking to them, but there's a scene, right? When he basically saying something along the lines of if they only knew what the rangers had done, like to protect the, uh, to protect their life, their way of life, right? And I think Tolkien did this intentionally, obviously, to draw our attention to how they live, but there is this, like, the good humans around them, and they have a certain, like, they're set aside, and, like, the Rangers of the North, there's a recognition, obviously, through Aragorn and Gandalf, that this life must be protected, and this existence must be protected, and it obviously has to do with the ring, but it's also deeper than that.

Tolkien's, I think, drawing our attention to this simple way of life that they've embraced and setting that as a contrast to how I think the, the realities and plagues of our world.

But I do think, um, I think both of these things were true, right? To a certain extent, they have to be set aside because obviously they haven't been spoken of.

I think that makes a lot of sense in the story.

They have to have saints there, too.
