Andy BrownGUEST
So Brian likes to tell the story about us getting the audio tape of her speaking, which allowed us to sort of have Judy tell her own story in her own voice, which is, it's a pretty funny story.

We really wanted to make a first person film and we didn't exactly know how we were going to do that, but that was kind of our guiding light.

Brian LindstromGUEST
And, um, several years into the project, I think we did our first interviews in December of 2013.

And just really quickly, what was so affirming about that was that, you know, these were Judy's dear friends like Tommy Peltier and Pat Blessing and Bill Plummer.

Brian LindstromGUEST
And what was so gratifying was their enthusiasm that we were making the film, but also that Judy was like still a vivid, palpable, living presence in their lives.
