Tell me, Brian, what do you think could happen to professional standards if teachers and principals and parents no longer have a guaranteed voice on this board?
3:05
Well, look, we're in not just a nationwide teacher shortage, we're in a global teacher shortage.
3:11
The NT has managed to keep all our schools open and keep all our classrooms staffed.
3:17
And I'd say the big reason we've been able to do that is by offering the best salaries for teachers in Australia.
3:23
We've recruited the best and brightest teachers from around the country to come to the NT and enjoy the lifestyle here because they can earn $10,000, $15,000 a year more than in, say, Victoria.
3:34
That's about to change.
3:35
The Victorians have just got a 30% pay rise.
4:09
if they don't have a full qual, are they at uni? What's the go?
2:31
Because most of what you get from AI, and most of what you get from the largest content creators a lot of the time is rehash.
2:39
I have 2,000 followers on YouTube.
2:41
Go listen to my YouTube podcast and tell me if you don't find something in there that makes you think differently.
2:46
Just think about who you're listening to.
2:48
And maybe that person who only has 1,000 only does a podcast once every three months because he doesn't have time, because he's too busy doing things and making things happen.
2:56
A lot of the guys talking about the industry and are experts have never even run a business in this industry.
3:02
They're just collectors who know how to do a polished video and can have controversial opinions.
7:50
40, 30-
14:10
And you're in trouble because then a person is slandered or libeled.
14:14
Welcome to the world of cable television news.
14:16
Turn on one network, this information.
14:17
Turn on the other network, you get this information.
14:19
We live in a world where no one cares about the truth.
14:22
They care about the narrative that fits their thesis, and they present that narrative over and over.
14:26
If you're buying a card, like you said, ninety-ten.
16:48
That's what AI does.
7:41
The strategy would be different
7:43
...
7:43
this is where collectors have to really think about how they sell their cards, because so many collectors are gonna pack up everything nice they have and bring it to the National, right? 'Cause that's what you'd think.
7:51
That's where the money is.
7:52
What they don't understand is there are so many cards at that show.
7:58
I saw sports card investor Jeff Wilson was paying 75, 80% last year.
8:03
Now, at most shows, his guys will pay 90%, but the flood of cards and the number of people, and he had a line like I did, he had an hour line to sell to him.
11:12
Because they're the cards that are going up.
11:29
So how do you suggest dads cultivate their King energy to set a strong intentional culture in their home?
11:38
So I write this in the book.
11:40
I think you really need to examine your own values.
11:45
So my number one value when I was just in my warrior was success.
11:49
And I blamed that success was...
11:52
I grew up in a household, we didn't have a lot of success financially.
11:57
And so there was a lot of arguing and discourse over money.

7 MINS LATER

19:02
So how does a dad bring back their gesture to ensure that his kids still have these great core memories and their lives are filled with joy and laughter rather than stress? Yeah.
13:43
What are your thoughts on Demo, on Woomart, and the winners?
13:51
Well, I think Troy hit the nail on the head earlier.
13:53
I mean, what stood out to me about Woomart wasn't one thing.
13:57
It was...
13:59
Really, one of the best examples I've seen in a very long time of connected intelligence.
14:06
You know, what stood out is Walmart and Dmall built the first AI agent powered retail operating system, but at scale, where AI is now almost working as a a digital employee that can now figure out how to sense and decide and actually take action across many different things in the retail environment, whether it's merchandising or supply chain, operations, engaging customers, et cetera.
14:37
So it wasn't just a single feature or science experiment.
15:59
But what were some of the innovations you noticed there? And whether it's all the entries, as you mentioned, but those two in particular.
1:41
Yeah.
1:41
I think, I think, I think that, um, to have financial success, y- you put a lot of focus into your business, into your career, and, and with that focus, you get rewarded.
1:55
And the question is, when's enough enough? And having a front row seat to some of the world's greatest entrepreneurs, have a few billionaire clients, you realize that no matter how much you have, there always seems to be not enough, or there's...
2:11
You're never done with that, chasing that success, and I think it's sometimes unfulfilling.
2:17
And so for me, you know, that I was chasing becoming a partner at a, at a firm, and I thought that was the ultimate success.
2:26
And I think when I got to partner and, and, you know, it, it didn't feel any different than, you know, the years before.
2:32
I was just s- still slugging it out and, you know, not realizing that, that dream, I guess.

11 MINS LATER

14:01
So how did you approach, like, approach that? How did you learn the difference between stated values and lived values?
