Like, do you worry about that later? Like, it's not a concern as you develop? Or is it something where you want to introduce mystery into the narrative so that the player has a kind of one-to-one relationship between the puzzle and the sort of the steps of the

story? The process I settled on which seemed to work the best for me was starting with a story just in very broad emotional terms.
14:12
I started with the arc for the character, the arc.
14:16
is, you know, the character, it's sort of a coming-of-age story kind of thing, so the character starts off with all these dreams of, like, going into outer space, and then she actually gets a job on a spaceship, and she kind of has her dreams, not squashed, but just sort of made a little more mundane.
14:32
And then she learns to, you know, embrace the mundanity of this, and it's just a very, very broad outline that you could use for anything, really.
14:40
And then I started trying to build the puzzles around that.
14:44
I was like, how do I...

What do you not have in that view and why?
19:18
Yeah,
19:20
so please buy her books.
19:22
But...
19:26
We have been looking for people to do things that I flatly cannot do, or she flatly cannot do.
19:33
So like music composition, I can do a little bit of that.
19:36
I'm competent, but I'm not great, and I certainly can't do it efficiently.
19:40
So we've been talking to a composer, and we've got some music in there, and that's been going pretty well.

10 MINS LATER

You don't have to dig too deep into spoilers or what you don't want to talk about, but what is it right now that you think is maybe your biggest challenge that you're trying to work through?
