the concrete guy is the guy who comes in and sets the foundation that you're able to build your business or anything else on top of.

And if that foundation is shaky or has cracks in it, you have risk.

And that risk, when you're talking about the cyber world, is large gaping liability associated with all kinds of costs.

ransomware, anything along those lines, data injection, all of these things that can wind up coming in from the outside or accidentally clicked from the inside, right? That's usually the biggest way that people wind up coming in.

So cybersecurity is really seven layers designed around preventing us from doing something silly and having the PC then or Mac execute on it, right? Or your iOS or mobile device, whatever you want to be able to use within the frame of this context.

So first thing we got to do is we got to understand what does your technology look like right now? Can it safely support any kind of AI strategy on top of it? And if not, let's address those gaps first.

But what do you think, especially most of the executives are getting wrong about how to turn AI into measurable ROI rather than just another line item?

I think a lot of it does have to do with exactly what you talk about, right? It's the hype.

It's the promise.

It's the what it could do as opposed to really understanding what it should do for an organization, right? Any business leader and business owner is going to be focused to ROI in any other aspect of the business.

They're not going to invest in a tool.

They're not going to invest in the cloud.

They're not going to invest in technology.

So let's say, let's say for a company that doesn't have the budget or headcount of an enterprise competitor, what does this actually look like in practice? Like any example with an example, if we can support.

Yeah, so then I'll talk about some of the, you know, one or two of the clients that you're working with and where you started with them and where they are in their AI deployment process.

I mean, I'm really, really engaged now around the turning the ship from the, oh, I can get agents and put these things into our environment Where we've been going, hold on, hold on.

Do you have a plan? Do you have a plan? No, it'll be fine.

Yeah, and I guess this idea that you bring up, too, is that we need to be agnostic to the platform that we're using, right, and that Claude and Codex are kind of the – uh the the models du jour but grok has got all their super agents which is on my my to-do list this next two weeks is to dig into the grok agents and see what uh you know where if there's some functionality there that i'm missing gemini and and all that thing i think google's way behind but you know they can they can the thing that's so amazing is that the speed at which catch-up can happen now inside competition because of the ai uh support and ai coding and we're seeing that i made a project right now where we saw some major major flaws and had to rebuild the whole platform and the guys did it in uh or the people did it in about 10 days they just made a major 90 degree turn and then it is all functional again which typically would have taken six or eight months in the past
