What exactly is Sporthub and how does it support youth and family in our

city? So Sport Hub is an exciting new city of Calgary program all about reducing barriers to access high quality sport and recreation opportunities for kids and teens age five to 18.

What's unique about Sport Hub is our collaborative delivery model.

So we work very closely with partners, including school boards, funders like United Way, sport organizations and other community partners to bring programming into schools and neighborhood spaces where kids and teens already learn and play.

It's all about reducing barriers to access.

We acknowledge that families, kids and teens might experience barriers around accessing recreation opportunities, whether that's transportation, financial, through our free or low cost programs.

We help bring programming into community again, where kids and teens are already learning and playing.
