Uh, I did grow up in the funeral home, lived above the funeral home with my three siblings, and, uh, that's likely a whole different podcast of stories, um, that anyone that, that's grown up in those circumstances would, would share with.

But, um, after growing up in the funeral home, it was clear that I wanted to be in the, the sector, in, in the bereavement sector.

Uh, what became clear to my brother, who is the other co-owner of Denning's, and myself, uh, was that there, there was a lot of Denning's, and, uh, and, and there was just not room for our ownership aspirations at the home funeral home in Strathroy, Ontario.

So we ended up buying a small funeral home about 15 minutes away from Strathroy-
