34:41
That is a scary statement.
34:43
Yeah.
34:44
Yeah, that really hit home, and I [laughs] and I said to him, "Well, okay.
34:50
Um, I'm kind of like a son to you.
34:53
[laughs] Uh, so what is this world that I am in?" And he said, "Well, you know, Brent, I can't.
35:00
It's all classified.
35:01
I can't tell you anything." And I said, "Well, you can't just tell me that and expect me to just go on with my life.

17 MINS LATER

51:59
Wow.
17:33
it up and
17:33
he goes, do me a favor in case we don't make a deal, put this in a safety deposit box for about 10 to 15 years.
17:42
And at that time, hopefully you'll see that I was for real.
17:46
So I take it from him and I go, can I look at it now? And he goes, sure.
17:49
So I open it up and it's this weird, incomprehensible formula.
17:55
And I said, what is this? And he said, sound, light, and frequency secrets of the universe.
18:02
Good night folks.

7 MINS LATER

24:49
right?
4:48
It's like, oh, I just thought this was all fantasy stuff.
4:53
Well, exactly.
4:54
And, you know, from that story, that situation that happened, we went down a whole path where we had several meetings with not just this one man in black, but he brought in someone from the Office of Mobile Intelligence who was actually part of the Navy.
5:11
we had long conversations about taking a deal ultimately we did not take the deal but as bryce mentioned we're finding that there were other people in hollywood that were offered the deal and in our second episode of our podcast we take another personal experience we had which was during the making of the dark skies pilot our director was a very good friend of steven spielberg's uh who had made Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist which Steven produced and in the midst of a conversation with Toby he let it be known that his good friend Steven Spielberg told him that after Jaws he was the most successful director on the planet and he was approached by the Office of Naval Intelligence and offered the exact same deal now according to Toby Steven took it well Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but here we are in 2026, and Steven Spielberg has a movie that just came out this weekend called Disclosure Day.
9:22
What's your gut on that? Because they do all look like the same characters we've seen since the 1950s.
9:29
Yeah, it's a great question.
9:32
You know, right now there's a lot of conversation out there and several very high level people have come forth and said there's multiple alien species.
9:41
There's not just greys, right? The greys have become the iconic face, if you will, of the aliens.
18:23
Nice.
18:23
Just East Bay.
18:25
And, um, we lived right next door to this family where, uh, there was a guy named John Harrington, his wife Lois, his two daughters, I'm not gonna name them.
18:36
Um, his daughters were in between my brother and I.
18:41
So I was the oldest of the four kids.
18:43
My brother was the youngest.
18:44
And I mean, we, we literally lived right next door, and there was like one gate between us.

1 HR 46 MINS LATER

124:34
[chuckles] Whoa.
1:09
I should add, we turned that deal down, but it was very real.
1:13
I am an experiencer.
1:14
I am kind of the Mulder to Bryce's Scully, if you get the X-Files reference.
1:20
I've seen a lot of things.
1:21
I have seen UFOs.
1:24
And more importantly, the show that Bryce mentioned, Dark Skies, one of the The ideas behind it or one of the impetus behind it was when I was 18 years old, I was disclosed to by a family friend who was in the Reagan administration.
1:39
Second term, he went on to become the secretary of energy.
JTHOST
3:41
You said, what was specifically your experience and what happened afterwards?
41:03
You know? I, there's more than one out there.
41:06
Yeah.
41:07
Well, I agree with everything you guys just said.
41:10
Um, but I'm gonna steer the conversation in a slightly different direction now.
41:14
Um, so when we talk about truth, um, I wanna bring up something that, uh, Bryce and I have talked about on our podcast, Sound, Light, and Frequency, and I think, Ryan, we even talked about it in a previous episode with you.
41:29
I was disclosed, uh, to when I was 18 by a government official, uh, named John Harrington, who was part of the Reagan administration in the, the '80s.
41:39
And two thi- I'm not gonna go into the whole conversation, but two things he said to me, uh, which are critical to our kind of analysis of this movie.

20 MINS LATER

62:12
You're gonna learn sooner or later."
AndyHOST
25:06
[laughs]
25:07
So I'm gonna go with ufology.
25:09
And, but the, but the idea is, is that within ufology, there is, there is so much, um, kind of, uh, nebulous kind of evidence.
25:18
There, there, there's...
25:19
And so we're just trying to bring things a little bit more into focus, because my personal belief is that the truth is, is all subjective, right? You know, we're, we're looking for the, the, the absolute, like, nuts and bolts s- you know, 100% this is certain.
25:37
And short of an Independence Day situation where aliens come down and blow up the White House and everyone sees it, um, we're into a world where everyone has to make their own decision based on what they've heard, what they've seen, but most importantly, what they've experienced.
25:54
And so I think one of the things that's been interesting for me is, uh, I've had friends and colleagues who've gone and l- you know, listened to the first three episodes and went back and watched, uh-

35 MINS LATER

61:32
Mm.
34:20
So,
34:22
but here's a perfect example.
34:25
And we talk a little bit about in one of the episodes, when we wrote Dark Skies, We did infuse the show with certain things that I had been disclosed about and that Bryce had learned on his own.
34:39
And so there was some truth, quote unquote, in the show under the cover of fiction.
34:46
Correct? Right.
34:47
Well, we were also trying to be provocative in an entertainment capacity.
34:54
And so we came up with the biggest, highest concept idea we could, which is let's collide Roswell as a conspiracy and the JFK assassination as a conspiracy.

29 MINS LATER

63:40
Right.
43:26
... quote-unquote, um, and all of that going on right now? And what does that have to do with your podcast?
43:32
No, it's a great question, and I think it, it is a through line for our, our podcast.
43:36
And I think, you-- Again, this is one of the things that when you step back, you can start to trace kind of the, the cultural narrative, right? So a movie like Close Encounters, right, was, um, those were benevolent aliens.
43:52
Even though there was moments when the little boy was abducted that were very scary, there was some intensity, and, and they certainly, the aliens, were threatening in that they were more powerful than us.
44:04
But the end message was, well, but they just want to learn about us, and we're gonna, we're gonna learn with them, right? Then you have a movie like E.T., right? That's also one where the alien itself was presented as, you know, the space brother, right [laughs]? Uh, but then you have, uh, movies like Independence Day, where they're coming to destroy everything.
44:29
All of those stories are emerging from Hollywood.
44:32
Um, they're all telling very different stories.

13 MINS LATER

57:53
Love it
24:33
So do you make of Catholics being, uh, put up there in this image?
24:39
You know, I didn't go as deep and into the Catholic analysis as you did, although that's incredibly valid.
24:46
Um, I was just more focused on, okay, this, this movie is going to have a spiritual angle, right? It, if you could think back to Spielberg's other movies, close encounters, right? Uh, ET, um, even War of the Worlds, there wasn't any direct or obvious spiritual component to it.
25:13
By just showing a hand on a crucifix and by having nuns watching it, it's immediately you feel like, okay, this is going to try, I feel, and incorporate religion and religious beliefs into disclosure, even if it's just on the impact level.
25:29
Sure.
25:31
How will religions incorporate or assimilate the idea that we are not alone? But I also think that to segue into some other aspects of what we saw in that first chunk, interestingly, for me, the big takeaways were in that first chunk that Disclosure is not going to be coming from a president or from government officials standing up and giving, you know, at a podium somewhere in Washington, D.C.
26:03
It's going to come through humans, in this case, a weather reporter, spoken by aliens.

30 MINS LATER

56:07
Do you think there could be others? So the only question I had for you is when she says, do you think there could be others? Other what? Is she talking about other alien life forms or what? Did you have that?
