In your own mind, as somebody who really understands asbestos better than I do, how do you think about artificial intelligence and its relationship to the rest of us?

I think the first statement I'd make is that the benefits of technology, any new technology, are always oversold way before the downsides are considered.

You know, consider the car, right, the Model T.

So my great-grandmother died in a car wreck coming back from my grandfather's wedding in probably around forty to fifty mile an hour accident.

Why? Because Model Ts didn't have seat belts and airbags and anti-lock brakes, right? So if you had a wreck, that was it.

Asbestos, hey, asbestos is a great, cheap way to provide insulation in buildings.

[upbeat music] How do you see a faith-based approach to life and artificial intelligence? Can they become synergistic or symbiotic and mutually reinforcing, or are they inherently at conflict?

What's going on out there in that landscape? 'Cause most adults don't know.

All right, so let's, let's set the backdrop on the landscape before we get into what's going on more, more specifically to Christians.

So the landscape is the average child in America spends 50 hours a week on screens.

The landscape is that every mother's number one pr- number one issue, who has a child under 13, probably under 18, is screen time.

The landscape is that we are losing our children.

Anxiety, suicide, depression rates are all-time highs in this country.

The average male is exposed to pornography when he's 12.

You, you pay a subscription, but that's it.

And then you can trust as a parent that not only will your kids love it, you know, they're not gonna have to force them to do it like maybe the stuff that, you know, you grew up on in the '90s or I saw in the '80s where you just...

You know, kids didn't really wanna play the, the Christian thing.

No, it's g- it's gonna be amazing and incredible and fun, but every time they're on there, they're exposed to a concept from the Bible about God, about the reality of Christ, so you know that your child's taking something with them for the future, and not only, not only, you know, for, for eternity, but also frankly just for their own mental health and sanity.
