I wanted to kind of take a step back and now just, you know, it's been so long since the textbooks, right? And just when you approach these cases, you're looking, correct me if I'm wrong, you're looking at the brag peaks and then kind of backtracking to see what, so you can have that rapid fall off at a certain depth or like, how do you choose, you know, the adequate depth for each plan? And then my kind of other question to that is, is there any difference when you plan for like lung, when like motion management and things like that for proton planning?

Oh yeah, I'll, uh, yes, there definitely is for, in terms of like choosing the beams and the depth for those things, a lot of like the depth control and the actual individual spot placements is done by our treatment planning system, but we get to determine through beam specific structures, which beams treat certain regions.
20:46
And so I'll go back to that head and neck example.
20:48
If we're using posterior obliques, we don't want them shooting through the shoulders.
20:52
We want to make sure they're only treating from here up.
20:56
And so then we'll create a beam-specific structure and be like, okay, this beam only treat this region.
21:02
This beam only treat this region.

But where do you see, I know you've been in the field for a few years, Jeff and myself, we've been around, you know, we've been hearing a lot of changes over the last 19 and 20 years, but no, we're still here, right? So as we move forward with this AI involvement and scripting, how do you think our job as dosimetrists will evolve? Like, what's the future along with AI? We're traveling along with this, right?
