How did it come about for you?

This goes all the way back to April of 2024 is when Mount to Coast launched the R1, and I bought that immediately from the start because it, it sounded very interesting, and I kinda liked how the shoe looked.

And then the more I kept running in it, I was like, "Oh, this is-- Like, this is definitely gonna be the shoe for me." So, like, that 50-mile race that I did in 2024, I did it in the R1s.

And then fast-forward till May, May of 2025, I did, um, 100 miles around a track, and I reached out to Mount to Coast at that point to kind of, you know, telling them how much I like their shoes and just, you know, trying to network with them.

And when I ran-- When I was getting ready to run across Pennsylvania is when they-- we kinda reached out to each other and kinda built, you know, this relationship, and they helped sponsor me for the run across Pennsylvania.

And then we kinda just stayed in contact from there, and then they found, they found out I was running Boston.

And at the time, I was training to PR Boston, which would've-- I was training for a two forty-five.
