Matt McClintockHOST
Are there errors in my family? Or is there a broader interpretation of errors within my company? Who will then somehow take this forward from what I have? Or do we end up, or is really the only viable option to sell to a competitor, sell to venture, sell to somebody else? How do you help clients explore these questions whether it's completely external transition a quasi external transition to employees and key people or a totally internal transition to children who are going to take this thing forward how do you kind of navigate that

Brendan BybeeGUEST
Yeah, I think, you know, kind of in line with how you're talking about that and kind of going back to, Claire, your earlier question about who do you go to to talk about these things, it's sort of about getting the parties to explore somewhat what their own feelings are about this.

Brendan BybeeGUEST
In the case that you mentioned about your own business, right, who are the constituencies that you're caring about? In some cases, a family business is started by the patriarch and matriarch, and their concern is to pass that on to their family and keep it within the family.

Brendan BybeeGUEST
I want to make sure that the employees are taken care of, that they're gainfully employed, they're with meaningful work, that we're doing here and I want to make sure that they can continue to do that as long as there's work.

Brendan BybeeGUEST
There's the clients that are being served by it and there can be a real sense of duty to them to make sure that they're taken care of.
