in our lives but I think if we were to talk more about like doing things differently than you thought you should and if we were to give ourselves space to sometimes just do things differently like not even think about it but like I'm gonna choose something different it would be a lot easier for a lot of women to take steps I think for me like my first taste of that was having my son when I was 23 and before I was you know quote ready and it showed me that like okay doing things outside of what I thought I was supposed to do or like just the natural order of things the natural way things would be it doesn't actually make everyone hate me or whatever I thought would happen if I went against that there's been a lot of moments like that in my story and in my life and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity all before I turned 30 for so many shake-ups we'll call them right and I think it's important for us all to know how like positively impactful shake-ups can be when we're conditioned to do things a certain way as we head into adulthood and then just keep living the way that again we think we're supposed to

Breanne SmithGUEST
that's such a beautiful reframe of it and when you shake things up like you have the ability to bring in new energy what role did community play in your healing i hear you talking a lot about your experiences in as the host of this podcast and sitting in community with other women and I know that one of the things I've experienced and a lot of other mothers experience is loneliness and sometimes isolation especially in early motherhood so I wanted to highlight and talk about the role that community has played in your healing.

Breanne SmithGUEST
me too and I know it's scary to put yourself out there and try new things and meet new people but we try to make it really easy we have virtual events that you can join based around book clubs tarot nights different themed fun events like we give you the framework and the conversation and we just want you to join if you are willing those conversations have been so healing for me I know I didn't grow up with any mother figure to really model motherhood for me.

Breanne SmithGUEST
So being in community with other mothers has been so healing and has helped me in motherhood and makes me realize that I'm not alone.
