Why do you think it's so important for older women in particular to actually be visible playing?

Well, for so, so many reasons, you know, and it's funny because the, you know, the automatic answer.

And so I'm turning 50 this year and, and tend to have, you know, a lot more contact with social media than women my age, just because of the work that I'm doing to bring visibility to older women that it, you know, it's, I know this space.

And I also grew up with an engineer computer engineer as a dad and so we had computers pretty early on and and even in my education so bringing visibility looks like to me um this big conversation about how we view older women you know of course older people in general and there's a lot of um you know, conversation about ageism and, you know, reframing what it looks like to be an older adult.

Even the terms, you know, the concept of being a senior, there are sports events that are called the senior games.

And we have people in their 50s saying, I'm not a senior, stop calling me that, you know, and And the concept of a senior discount.

And even just on the sidelines recently, I had this conversation that in one of my media posts, I had said that we were talking about older and middle-aged women.

She added a third concept, that of age.
