We're so happy to be here because we are truth tellers.

Um, and what this show is so unique because there aren't a lot of musical pieces of art that tell true stories and, like Julia said, in true stories in very interesting ways, both flexing the way we tell stories, also flexing the gender, um, uh, also, uh, reflecting history and how that, um, connects us to the now, how the past con- uh, really talks about the present.

And I think that this true story being told in such an interesting way really allows audiences to, to learn, which I think I love.

It gives the audience a, the benefit of the doubt.

It makes you lean in.
