Why do you think people s- why do you think people struggle so much with accepting the truth about themselves?
6:51
Well, that's a great question.
6:53
You see, the process and the purpose of life is to, uh, be a loving person, to come from a place of love and respond morally and ethically.
7:07
And truth in every situation is our opportunity to respond morally and ethically.
7:16
You see, when we respond morally and ethically, then the choices we make are not only in our best interest, but they're also in the best interest of the people who are important to us in our lives.
7:29
So truth is always there.
7:31
The problem is we live in a world that wants to keep the truth hidden from us.

From your experience in coaching, corporate sales, marketing, entrepreneur, writing and podcasting, what pattern have you noticed in how people respond to success, failure, pressure, and accountability? Many people know they need to change but struggle to move from awareness to action.

When trust has damaged, sorry, when trust has been damaged between two people, what are some of the first thing they need to understand before genuine recon reconciliation can happen
15:59
sure that's a great question because everybody experiences relationship disruption of some point you know in their life right yeah and here's there's three issues when you're talking about repairing relationships number one when we're children The model that we have to see how relationships get repaired is what we witness with the adults in our life.
16:31
So if your parents are always in disruption or damaged or fighting, then however they repair that is what becomes the model for us as children, which takes us into adulthood.
16:47
See, if your parents... have problems and they argue.
16:53
And let's say the father has said something that hurts the partner, the spouse or the mother.
17:02
And for most people, the first thing is I say, okay, I'm sorry I said or did that.
17:10
Please forgive me.

How can someone explore their spiritual life without simply accepting beliefs, without examining what they truly believe?
OkoroHOST
1:57
So what did you witness that made you begin questioning or having double thoughts about the future? Or why do you think uncertainties about the future can have such a powerful effect on the way people live today? And again, when did you really realize that uncertainties can actually have a profound impact on our lives in general?
2:23
That's a complicated question, but all of those things you just mentioned, personal responsibility, choice, consequence, both today and our future are all linked together.
2:38
Each one of us, every day, in our relationships, at home, at work, in our neighborhoods, in our communities, all face different choices.
2:49
And every choice has a consequence.
2:52
A lot of times people look at their choice or decision that has to be made and they think about what they want the outcome to be.
3:02
What's in it for them, right? What's best for them? And when we focus on only what's best for us as the outcome, a lot of times we don't bother to look at any other possibility, right? I've got to make a choice.
3:18
I want it to end up this way for my benefit.

As humans, it's good we recognize that there is a connection between approve what we can see here on it is a connection because i see us as individuals who are just having a every um moment we are far beyond what we are physically so um i love the fact that you could recognize spirituality in different facets that is very very lovely to hear from you Very, very lovely.

4:48
Now, as a follow-up question to that, why do you think people sometimes find it easier to blame other people or circumstances rather than accepting the responsibilities that we just talked about?
5:01
Well, because most people grow up fearing failure.
5:07
We don't want to fail at what we choose to do because the choice of the decision that we've made is grounded in what I want for me out of this choice.
5:21
See, every time we have a choice or decision to make, we automatically think about what the benefit of that choice will be, meaning if I win, what do I get out of this choice I'm going to make? And so a lot of people, what they do is they go into the choice or the decision thinking about what is it that I want and how do I get it? But they don't often look at the other side, meaning, well, if it doesn't happen the way that I want it to, what is the consequence of the negative outcome? And until we are mature enough or smart enough or astute enough to look at a choice and look at both the positive outcome and the negative outcome, if we do that, then we can weigh what our action might bring, either the positive or the negative.
6:19
And so this is the importance of choice.
6:23
understanding truth in our life, and taking personal responsibility.
6:28
You see, so many times, if we make a choice, we make a decision, and the consequence is negative, then we are, A, ashamed or embarrassed that it didn't work out like we said it would, like we thought it would.

FerdinandHOST
16:27
So why do you think people are so fascinated by these topics? And what do you think they often misunderstand about this?
BeatriceHOST
0:57
okay so you often write about choice consequence and personal responsibility why do you believe taking responsibility is such an important part of personal growth
1:14
Well, that's a great question, and it's a question that we all face at different times in our lives and occasionally a lot in our lives because every decision, every choice that we make, has a consequence, it has a result, it has an outcome, right? And those can either be positive outcomes or not so positive outcomes.
1:38
And a lot of times when we are willing to take personal responsibility, and that means being responsible for our thoughts, our words, and our actions, when we take personal responsibility, if the outcome of our choice or our decision is positive and in our best interest, like we was hoping it would be when we made the choice, if it's in our best interest, then we have a template for success in the future in a similar or same situation, or really in any situation, because taking personal responsibility proves to the world and to ourselves that we are coming from the truth and making the best decision for not only ourselves, but for those in our lives at home and at work.
2:34
Now, for those people, or for all of us until we get to that growth point, when we abandon or reject personal responsibility for our thoughts, our words, and our actions, then whatever choice we make, whatever decision we decide upon, whatever action we take, because we are not coming from a truthful place.
3:01
We're coming from either a place that's all about me and what I want, no matter what harm I may do, or I'm coming from a place of what I think the world, what I want the world to think about me, and if the outcome is negative or not so good, if I'm not taking personal responsibility, then the first thing I do is look for an excuse for the failure or for the negative outcome.
3:31
I look for someone else or something else to blame for that inability to be successful.
3:40
And what happens is the more that we shirk or don't take personal responsibility, the more often we are apt to make an excuse for the failure or the negative outcome.

11:09
So what are some lessons you believe we tend to learn too late?
BlessedHOST
8:47
Why do you think human beings so frequently resist truths that could ultimately help them?
8:55
Great question.
8:56
The reason we avoid truth is because it's a self-indictment of us, right? If we respond truthfully...
9:06
then that means that we have to identify, first of all, that we are all one, right? No matter what our differences are, we all come from the same spiritual origination.
9:20
And therefore, because we all are one, There's no reason for us to treat each other inhumanely, right? We should come from our highest loving self, which means we accept and respect everyone in our life, and we value everyone in our life in the same way that we value ourselves.
9:42
And when we grapple with the ways of the world, it's a challenge, it's a test about whether or not we will live truthfully And that's what life comes down to.
9:53
Are we willing to live truthfully? And again, by living truthfully, you prove that to yourself and to the world by responding in your daily life morally and ethically.
BlessedHOST
15:01
Now, across those very different worlds, what patterns about human nature have remained surprisingly consistent?
19:48
And if God loves everyone so much, including those people who are good or not so good why does he have to create you know make it so difficult for everyone if he wants to end the world he can just end it why did he have to tell about prophecies and then make it so difficult for people to you know that end is coming and it will be painful what is the hidden meaning behind all this branch
20:17
That's the greatest question that you can ask, Aj.
20:21
It's why is it, you know, if God loves the world, why is he doing this? And it comes down to free will choice.
20:29
You know, we come into this world, none of us know when we come into this world anything about God or religion or spirituality.
20:38
What we come to know and to embrace and to respond from are the ways of the world.
20:45
And we can look around and see that we've come a long way in terms of technology and our advancements in industry and commerce, but we still act very ugly and very inhumane to each other.
21:02
So what's missing in this world that we enjoy and that does so much, what's missing is our love of each other, our brotherhood, the understanding that we are all one in our essence.

28:48
Why is it like that?
MosesHOST
5:04
And
5:04
we all know that the ways of the world are grounded in lies, fabrications, falsehoods, and deceit.
5:14
And we know that from early childhood.
5:17
How do we know? Well, when we make choices and decisions where the result or the outcome makes us feel shameful or embarrassed or guilty, That's the spirit within us telling us that we didn't choose the truthful response.
5:35
And so we all know this growing up and we all experience it all throughout life, right? That's the design of the world is to keep us from embracing truth.
5:45
Because once we understand and see truth in our life, then we're at the fork in the road where we have to decide going forward, am I going to embrace truth? meaning respond truthfully, meaning respond morally and ethically in my life, or am I going to continue on the world's path and embrace the world's ways, which encourage me to lie and cheat and steal? So truth is the foundation.
6:17
Now, I spent 40 years embracing the ways of the world, and I was quite successful at it.
