What was going through your mind when that mask finally came off?

Oh, man.

It was bittersweet.

It was bittersweet because, I mean, I knew that I would miss what this experience created and what it offered, which was quite liberating.

But also, it was exciting to remove the mask because in many ways, the mask was coming off quite literally and figuratively.

And yeah, I finally, I was affirmed or the eight-year-old me was validated in many, many ways.

And I could really walk away totally and completely from every lie I'd ever told myself or anything I'd done prior.

Before I come to you, Robot, at what precise moment on stage did you realize, and this is for Spotty, did you realize that Mosquito is actually Robot Bowie standing right next to you? I'm sure you had an inkling.

So, I mean, as I understand it, when you agree to participating, you don't know what mask they're going to give you.

No, you have no idea.

You have no idea.

But I mean, you sit with the creative team and you kind of flesh out like what the possibilities are.

What can we do? What can't we do? And yeah, of the options that we were given, the one that we were really drawn to was spotty.

There was just something about spotty.

We wanted a mask that was going to be shapeless, number one.

in the competition.

Yeah.

Have you come to terms with how amazing you were this season? Oh, I mean, watching it back was...

I don't know.

I got to relive every single moment.

But it's crazy, though, because watching it back was watching it from a completely different lens.

Because understand that for 13 weeks, you are in a mask where you can't see anything.

You can't see what the judges are wearing.

Who were you hoping they would guess? Um, ooh.

We've seen those dance outfits.

Exactly.

It's in my field of work where I've had to wear different types of outfits.

And at a point I did cabaret, I danced in casinos, and you know, ain't much going on there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Outfits on a budget.

We're covering just the itty bitty bits.

But where do you learn that?
