Politician, particularly Senator Bradley in the Senate, who were pointing out the abuses of the system and affordable housing was one of the main abuses.

I'm not saying Bradley targeted affordable housing, but affordable housing did not have a very favorable view because of the structure.

So that may be why everybody said no other than me.

I thought it was something that incentives, there should remain incentives in the tax code, even as we reformed it.

And after meeting with Rick and Chuck, I talked to Senator Mitchell and he agreed that this was an issue worth working on, fighting for.

And so we took the cause following the Rick Goldstein and Chuck Edson, we had a crew that kind of camped out of my office trying to teach this young tax aid all-about housing program.

And that helped immensely.
