Can you tell the audience a little bit about yourself, what is Business Anywhere and how you got to where you are right now?

Yeah, sure.

I'll talk about business anywhere last because that's kind of, you know, like evolution of career and stuff like that.

But, I mean, I'm originally from the U.S., North Carolina.

I grew up in an entrepreneur family.

My dad had a construction company.

My grandpa had a restaurant.

Even if you have presence in that state, is that- Absolutely.

As you work with these clients who are setting up and have ongoing businesses, what are some of the main issues that you solve, problems you solve for them?

Well, I mean, our platform...

I mean...

I'm also an international tax lawyer.

So a lot of our clients, like I said, they're location independent entrepreneurs and very often they live outside their home country.

So that could be an American living in Thailand or a Canadian living in Mexico or a German living in Argentina or something like that.

So I'm an international tax lawyer.

That's a great line.

How do I say this? If we do this well, this would be one of those conversations that have you thinking well into the evening, you know? um so bobby i want to make sure outliers get a chance to get to know you um and and to see like i know you play a really big game out in the world i want to get a taste of what that game is would you mind letting us know more about you and what you're up to in the world

sure yeah um well i'm i'm a lifelong entrepreneur i've never had a real job i started my first company when i was 19. um I grew up in an entrepreneurial family.

For me, it was never the mindset to the whole traditional go to school, get the good education, get the good job mindset.

It wasn't that it was necessarily pushed on me or wasn't pushed on me.

It's just for me, independence and working for myself, having my own company was always the plan from the beginning.

So I've never actually had a real job.

Always had my own business.

man? How are you doing this thing? Yeah.

Do you want to tell us a little bit about that?

Yeah, sure.

Uh, the, the newest company is kind of a spinoff of my consulting business.

So I, like I said, I've had a lot of businesses over the years.

Um, 2001 I started doing, um, some tax and company structure and asset protection consulting, um, for clients.

It kind of started out as a, uh, basically I hired somebody like me to do this for me because in 2001 I own, um, uh, a pretty decent sized service business in the U S owned a restaurant.

I owned a bunch of real estate, stuff like that.

Would the LLC forcefully be like a one-to-one correlation that what the business earns is what you earn? Or you could leave some money in the LLC and you only take out what your salary would be?

Is there any specific moment, Bobby, that sticks to your mind that you always go back to and say, yeah, that was a time? Yeah,

I mean, so first of all, I've always been an entrepreneur.

I've actually never had a real job.

I started my first company when I was 19.

Wow.

So I don't really know what...

I hear people talk about, oh, I quit my $300,000 a year corporate job to start my own company.

Uh, just

Why does where you live make sense and matter?

Yeah.

So I like your point, the clickbaity stuff, like, you know, see the Instagram reel of, you know, the.

the beautiful person sitting on the beach with the laptop.

I love, I love that image.

It's so stupid, but I love it because it just gives the absolute wrong image.

That is not what real people do.

I can be quicker if you want.

Yeah.

Like, I've always had my own company.

S- uh, I started my first, like, real company when I was 19, so I haven't really had a real job my whole adult life, and I've always been location-independent.

Um, even in my 20s, 20s and early 30s, I had a company with a lot of employees all over the country.

I had an office with, like, 20 employees.

Um, and then I had employees all over the US too, um, and even then, I had an office and I never went to the office.

[laughs] I still was location-independent.

[laughs] Yeah.

I mean,

then, and now I don't really have friends with jobs.

Even the couple of friends I do that, The couple of friends I do have that have jobs, they work fully remotely and they're like high-end executives that work fully remote because I'm the kind of guy that'll call you up and be like, hey, let's go ride motorcycles on Thursday.

And so people with normal jobs, they can't do that.

Actually, the whole reason I'm here in Puerto Vallarta, that's actually, this is a great example of this.

The whole reason I'm here in Puerto Vallarta was two weeks ago, A buddy of mine was having some problems.

He was having some issues and like kind of in a bad headspace.

Your country's good, but there are equal opportunities somewhere else for healthcare.
