Do you want to tell us a little bit about that?

Yeah, sure.

Uh, the, the newest company is kind of a spinoff of my consulting business.

So I, like I said, I've had a lot of businesses over the years.

Um, 2001 I started doing, um, some tax and company structure and asset protection consulting, um, for clients.

It kind of started out as a, uh, basically I hired somebody like me to do this for me because in 2001 I own, um, uh, a pretty decent sized service business in the U S owned a restaurant.

I owned a bunch of real estate, stuff like that.

Would the LLC forcefully be like a one-to-one correlation that what the business earns is what you earn? Or you could leave some money in the LLC and you only take out what your salary would be?

But let's start off, just start the episode by telling people a little bit about who you are and why they should stay tuned here for this conversation.

Yeah, sure.

I'm originally from North Carolina, lifelong entrepreneur.

I've actually never had a real job.

I've always had my own business.

I was raised in an entrepreneurial family.

My grandpa had a chain of restaurants.

I mean, yeah, very

Is there any specific moment, Bobby, that sticks to your mind that you always go back to and say, yeah, that was a time? Yeah,

I mean, so first of all, I've always been an entrepreneur.

I've actually never had a real job.

I started my first company when I was 19.

Wow.

So I don't really know what...

I hear people talk about, oh, I quit my $300,000 a year corporate job to start my own company.

Uh, just

Why does where you live make sense and matter?

Yeah.

So I like your point, the clickbaity stuff, like, you know, see the Instagram reel of, you know, the.

the beautiful person sitting on the beach with the laptop.

I love, I love that image.

It's so stupid, but I love it because it just gives the absolute wrong image.

That is not what real people do.

I can be quicker if you want.

Yeah.

Like, I've always had my own company.

S- uh, I started my first, like, real company when I was 19, so I haven't really had a real job my whole adult life, and I've always been location-independent.

Um, even in my 20s, 20s and early 30s, I had a company with a lot of employees all over the country.

I had an office with, like, 20 employees.

Um, and then I had employees all over the US too, um, and even then, I had an office and I never went to the office.

[laughs] I still was location-independent.

[laughs] Yeah.

I mean,

then, and now I don't really have friends with jobs.

Even the couple of friends I do that, The couple of friends I do have that have jobs, they work fully remotely and they're like high-end executives that work fully remote because I'm the kind of guy that'll call you up and be like, hey, let's go ride motorcycles on Thursday.

And so people with normal jobs, they can't do that.

Actually, the whole reason I'm here in Puerto Vallarta, that's actually, this is a great example of this.

The whole reason I'm here in Puerto Vallarta was two weeks ago, A buddy of mine was having some problems.

He was having some issues and like kind of in a bad headspace.

Your country's good, but there are equal opportunities somewhere else for healthcare.
