I'm just so moved to like, yeah, if you want to know where the life take notes, it's just so simple.

Many of us have heard somebody tell us along the way that the be not afraid or fear not appears 365 days and 365 times in the Bible.

And we remember that because like that's one per day and I get it.

But here's the deal.

The idea of remember appears 8,670 times.

Wow.

Like that idea of remember, remember, remember.

Uh, like I just wanna grab time and learn from you and other people.

And so, like, what things can I learn? What things are your experiences? You know, you've always talked to people that say, "Well, enough about me.

Let's talk about me." [laughs] What about, uh, flipping that a little bit? And like Philippians 2:20, and I'm just a Bible verse guy.

Um, but I write books, and I don't put any Bible verses in them.

Like, know why you're doing what you're doing.

Mm

Mm.

Like, um, I, I would call it a strategic whimsy.

So some people that know me at a really surface level, I'm just a balloon guy, just happy-go-lucky and all that, and I'm all of that.

That's all...

I'm pretty upbeat guy.

Uh, but underneath that is a mile of strategy.

Not manipulative strategy, but just I know why I'm doing what I'm doing.

Bob, you show kindness in every minute of your day, and I love all the things you do for other people, but I wondered if you've had someone give you a random act of kindness in your life that was kind of unexpected and something that sticks with you as just really somebody that stood up for you at a time you didn't expect it.

Yeah, you know, the one that springs to mind is maybe I included, I think, one of the first books I wrote about a guy named Randy.

And I was going to drop out of high school, and I swung by his house.

He was like an older kind of college guy.

And I swung by his house to let him know I was going to drop out of high school, move to Yosemite, and climb the rocks.

Because, I mean, with this bod, like, who wouldn't imagine that I was a rock climber? Because I wasn't.

Well, I went to his porch and knocked on the door and he came and he looked a little kind of groggy.
