Journalists have been asking this question for a really long time.

We believe this is doable.

We all disagree on the timescale because it's very hard to look into that crystal ball, but very possibly doable in my lifetime [laughs] and hopefully a bit before that.

So what's his opinion now in 2026 as an outsider looking in?

The timeline, you know, when you're starting from a blank sheet, frankly, you've got so many problems ahead of you that you just keep going, and we did that over the first decade, and arguably that was also done over the second decade.

I think in this third decade, particularly the startups can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

What did you mean by that?

Well, for one thing, I think the city can do a better job with their communications, particularly as it relates to business in general, being proactive and pro-business.

And I think Cara's taking a lot of great steps in the right direction.

But I think the fact that before there was any plan hardly even presented about the data center at the Armory site, which is correct, we're not engaged in that project.

At the public meetings, there was a crazy kind of reaction that just doesn't make any sense.

You know, there's data centers operating in the city of St. Louis.

There's all this misinformation in the community and across the country and, you know, some of it's valid.
