Blake, have you received any direct communications from the Texas health officials you were suing or Camp Mystic itself?

I have not.

The only direct communication I've had throughout this entire nightmare has been outreach that I've led or that some of the other parents have led.

In the early weeks following the July 4th devastation, I made it a mission to get to the bottom of what happened and what didn't happen.

And from there, obviously, a whole number of things spawned, including the Heavens 27 Camp Safety Act, which we're very proud of.

But that does not look past the fact that there were already laws in place.

And as I said, if the loss of our daughters wasn't enough, now having to become subject matter experts and advocating for permanent change and transparency, it's a burden that none of us asked for, but here we are.
