that said, what are the foundational systems every household should have in place? And where are the best places to start when everything just feels so overwhelming?

The number one thing with toys especially is that most of us just have too many.

So I know I'm going to say this over and over and too much stuff, but the reality is there's all these studies that have been done at multiple universities.

One of the most well-known studies is through UCLA that kids do not do better with more toys.

They do better with fewer toys.

They're going to play independently with like a toddler only needs like six toys available to them at any given time.

So with toddlers and babies, I'm a big fan of toy rotation.

You can leave it on your porch and somebody is going to reuse it.

... six months ago when they received the chairs, like, that would've been an easier, you know, conversation versus just on install.

So this is my problem is, like, you're ordering 20 chandeliers.

You've gotta inspect every single one of those chandeliers.

It's gotta be totally opened, photographed at collection, and then we have it all uploaded into a database.

All the designers are alerted, "Okay, this is the piece that came in.

Either come back, check on that piece, and inspect it to make sure it is up to your snuff, or, um, we can work on a damages claim or application claim." Like, we just got these...

But, like, how does that show up? I mean, does that show up in added cost for clients? Like, how does that time and effort and sort of eyeballs on this show up on an invoice?

... we've sort of got to get back to the, the real stuff, you know? And, and actually doing things that are...

And doing things on s- on screen that, you know, people know you're actually doing, and not...

It's not all green screen, and it's not AI, or it's not, um, VFX.

It's actually, you know, guys chasing each other in cars and, you know.

There's fights that are physical and all that sort of stuff.

So, you know, I, I think, you know, that's why I've said, you know, at the start, you know, we sort of wanted to do this as an homage to the '70s and '80s road movies and, um, you know, make it a simple story, that a, a guy's just trying to get home, and he's being chased by a bunch of criminals, and he's got a bag of money.
