But what do you think about that, Dr. DiStefano? Some patients feel differently about trials.

Blair DeStefanoGUEST
Yeah, it's always my number one recommended choice for patients, especially for patients in this fuzzy zone.

Blair DeStefanoGUEST
I feel like there's been such an explosion in understanding the molecular landscape of MDS and slicing and dicing it into different diseases that fall under the mds umbrella and it's it's sometimes created a little bit of confusion like you said if you have a low risk mds per ipssr but they have high risk moleculars um you know that that's a scenario where i would i lean for a clinical trial or not even necessarily an interventional trial, but like an observational trial, like the MDS natural history study.

Blair DeStefanoGUEST
We participated in that trial just to better understand the natural history of these different subtypes of MDS.

Blair DeStefanoGUEST
But absolutely, our patients, our military patients are very open to participating in trials.

Now, when that first-line treatment isn't effective or maybe it's no longer effective, how do you evaluate when it's then time to switch therapies? And how do we talk to the patient about that?
