I am so happy to be with you.

I feel such a sense of kinship in this room with the deep desire to be saturated with the presence of Jesus.

Excited for the things that He has for us this morning.

If we have not met before, my name is Blaine Eldredge.

Yeah.

Uh, that I, um, as I said, I ran into this anecdote on my vulnerability binge, um, that was a qualitative study.

I think it was between college students on, you know, beauty and dating.

And it was specifically about like, oh, like beauty in any kind of physical intimacy.

whether it's snuggling or kissing or, you know, and so on.

And the women were sharing, like, this is just, like, so hard because, like, your expectations of how we would look are so incommensurable.

And Brene Brown shows the story of one of the guys interjected, like, slamming his hand on the table.

And

Wow.

An Instagram face points out that the more time women in particular spend on the internet or Instagram or social media, the more they start to look like the same thing.

But here is the strange part.

They don't start to look like each other.

They start to look like this third thing, which is called the Instagram face.

It has almost a life of its own.

It has predictable features.
