is there anything else about the race that, that particularly is worth touching on? Like how was the, the race experience apart from pacing it? Well, did you feel like you could push yourself in that, in that last part? And, and, and were you, was it, what happened, what you expected in terms of moving through the field?

Billy CurtisGUEST
It didn't feel like it in the moment because obviously running through mud, you just feel so tired all the time.

Billy CurtisGUEST
But I think just remembering that everyone feels really tired in that moment was an important part because once again, if you slack off in those times, you can pick up speed, then you do start to lose a lot of time.

Did you ever feel like you wanted to go with them or were you pretty happy to be just like, no, I know I need to do my thing?

I definitely got to my fittest and strongest I've sort of been probably at the time, and then traveled really well and spent some time by my- well, not by myself, with my partner in Italy, and we just, like, shut ourselves out from the world and just really relaxed and trained easy and prepared really well, and even stayed, like, quite away from the, the setup.

Billy CurtisGUEST
So some of the team would probably just think I'm an introverted mean [laughs] Did not wanna talk to anyone.

Billy CurtisGUEST
But, uh, it was really, like, g- traveling Asia and just knowing how hard it is to be at a race overseas and, like, what you can stuff up.

Billy CurtisGUEST
Like, being in a controlled environment helps a lot, and not in a, like, um, not too controlled, like, if anything goes wrong, you get really annoyed.

When you reflect now and think about the work you had done between Worlds coming into Madeira, what do you feel like really worked for you? Where do you feel like you developed, and, and what are you now taking from Madeira to go forward to the rest of this year?
