So what's happening now and why is it different to back when you were there?

Yeah, look, Mike, I've just got back from my 35th reunion of graduating from my MBA program and of the 800 of us, there's about 700 still alive and more than 350 of us turned up in Boston for like three days of get togethers.

We actually have lectures and classes and, you know, the business school academics share the latest research and news of what's going on.

And the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs is a global network.

There's about 22,000 of us that are involved in all the various elements of starting, building, owning, managing, investing, advising you know private business owners and entrepreneurs so i get a good opportunity to get the latest you know from harvard itself and then also in terms of what's going on in our global network when i was there and there were a couple of subjects that had the word entrepreneurial in them one was called entrepreneurial management one was called entrepreneurial finance they had a very particular sort of definition back then of what an entrepreneur was and The way the professors define it, they say, look, an entrepreneur is someone who relentlessly pursues an opportunity without the required resources.

And they said that people that have got resources, normally working in big companies or big organizations, they're not relentlessly pursuing an opportunity.

They've got plenty of resources.

What other education and support are you seeing to kind of grease this wheel of more small business owners?

OK, tell me about the mascot.

So it's football.

season and so we try to do things different so we're having the Saturday meet the mascots where you come see the animal the real elephants the jaguar all that but we're having the actual the mascots there so from 10 to 11 yeah we're having Big Al we're having Kaki from Jacksonville State Stinger from Alabama State Wally from Wallace State Golden Bear there so you can come get photos interact and then actually see the animals behind the mascots

We were just named Alabama's Attraction of the Year.

So we won the Birmingham Attraction of the Year, Alabama.

So I guess we're up for Miss America next.

But this Saturday, from 10 to 11, we're having colleges.

So we have Big Al coming from Alabama, Kaki from Jacksonville State.

stinger from um alabama state wally from wallace state and the golden bear from miles and then from 11 to i mean 11 to noon we're having the legion and the barons mascots the pros and then we're doing high school so you come to the zoo whatever you can get photos interact with the mascots hopefully get them you know photograph near the animals that are there so you know we've got jaguars if you want to see and all of those good things so it's a fun way to celebrate football season and actually see the animals behind the mascots themselves

How cool would it be to see Big Al with the elephants? I

think it may happen.

So we're very excited.
