Mark LarsonHOST
How do you build that environment where the team is able to make those kind of decisions together about, you know, what are our priorities? How do we stay focused on the things that we need to stay focused on? How do you create the conditions for them to do that function well?

Bill HannaGUEST
One is, how do you make decisions within the organization and how do you stay focused on the important decisions? Which I feel like are two related points.

Bill HannaGUEST
I think so often in Medicaid roles, The time sensitive, the urgent decision, the deadline driven decision, whether that's CMS or the secretary or the legislature can push out the important decisions.

Bill HannaGUEST
So one of the things I did to sort of keep focused on the important was I had another person on my team to help remind me to go back to the important decisions.
