Well, um, [clears throat] when we w- uh, we pulled together, uh, three different, um, no, four, uh, myself, Eric Pepper, uh, Richard McAlister, and Penny Jean, each did our own separate, um, work with pain.

And, um, we each found varying results, and it's gonna be part of our presentation where, um, I think a lot of people are familiar with Dr. Pepper's work, um, with the Sufi piercing himself.

So we were looking out at the alpha gating for that and incorporating work that's already been well-established, the pain metrics, matrix, and, um, Mark Smith and others' work on the triple network, uh, theory with the central executive network, default mode network, and the salience network, where alpha gating is highly involved in being able to switch those different networks.
