So what we had to do is, uh, take care of that problem we were having and, um, we went out and hired 20 part-time career paid firefighters.

Um, I was really impressed in the interview process.

These gentlemen are just great people.

Um, I asked them the question, "Why do you wanna join us?" And they were like, "Well, we hear what you're doing, and we wanna be part of something new and exciting, and we wanna help you." And I love that answer, and it fit perfect with what we're doing.

Now, the volunteers asked for this too.

It's not like we're doing something and the volunteers are upset.

Right.
