Will you tell us a little bit about it?
18:48
Yes, I have a new song called Blaze That Ass and Go Down with Sophie.
18:53
Rest in peace to Sophie.
18:55
We put this album, well, we did this collaboration in 2016 and we're finally here in 2026 to have this to come out.
19:03
And I'm so grateful for Sophie's family and everybody's going to love the music.
19:07
It's a great collaboration.

Just because one door closes, it doesn't mean that other doors are closed.
248:23
Uh, no, m- many more doors are open after that one door closes.
248:26
And so, you know, just like you say you're doing, uh, you know, something for Children's Hospital, I'm also starting the Devin Hurst Foundation where I'm helping one of the art- a few artists, you know, with scholarships for the next year in 2026.

What is it?
327:36
It's just a... a bakery, but it has the best cakes.
327:39
It's like wedding cake.
327:40
I mean, it's been around for decades.
327:42
It's the best cake.
2:46
How long have you been waiting to make this album?
2:49
I mean, God just put it on my heart and it just, you know, came full circle moment for me.
2:55
Um, I actually went to do a- a dance album, and I did 50 songs in five days.
3:00
And out of doing the 50 songs in five days, I did one song which was a gospel song, Celebration, and that's what sparked my idea to do a gospel album, and then the gospel album th- happened before the- the dance record even came out.

... and church music?
8:41
What I did was just brought Big Freedia to church, you know? I grew up as, as Freddie, you know, in church, but this time I br- I, you know, I stayed and remained who I am, and I brought Big Freedia to church.
8:52
It was time for Freedia to go to church and to give God just the glory and the praise that, you know, keeping me thus far and, you know, keeping me in music for over 20 years, you know? It wa- it was a full circle moment for me.
