And

that is the linchpin of everything.

And so therefore, it makes sense, right? Because of the sanctity of life, because of the Imago Dei, Therefore, God has very strong opinions about when the image of God is destroyed or the shedding of innocent blood, right? So in Scripture, that's what you see.

The shedding of innocent blood is never, ever neutral.

And it affects not just the people, like the victim, obviously, and their family, the perpetrator and their family, but also the spiritual atmosphere of the land, right? Wow.

And so I want to show you that in Scripture.
