when I started, so I was like, "None of that nonsense, you dried prune." So I went and did this, but all of a sudden, like...

And I'd studied film, and I, I had...

So I was, it turned out, like, I could do this really, really easily, and they could give me something and I could go, "Okay, do you wanna make this work? 'Cause it's not a great idea, but I can tell you how to make it work." And so this one company called Chestnut Hill had me come in, and, and the guy who was there, his name is John Marsh, who was, like, this crazy genius, said, "Um, I'm gonna teach you how to break a script down, and I'm gonna sit you down with writers." And out of that, about six months later I got a job at UA reading.

And I went around to every single executive when I first got there, like the good little schoolgirl I was, and I said, "What are you looking for?" And they said, "No reader's ever come up and asked that before." I said, "Well, I need to know what you're looking for if I am reading scripts, right?" And it was David Heyman, Elizabeth Gabler, Ruth Vitale-
