What excites you about your journey right now and where we are in this interesting transition into new frequencies?
2:26
Yeah.
2:26
And we were talking earlier about biomagnetism.
2:29
And I guess I'll start there.
2:32
Because I had Lyme disease for about five years until I was diagnosed.
2:36
And then it happened, as things often do, where I finally said an angry prayer to spirit.
2:44
And I said, you effing better help me out or I'm out.
6:01
It's a scary thing, but I feel we still have that awareness of the body because I know I felt like that was an experiment I had to go through to get in touch with my body even deeper.
26:52
Yeah
26:52
...
26:52
I would get that feedback and I became more and more grateful for that feedback because I started to realize if you are walking around without remorse, and I've heard a number of people say this, uh, in more recent times, which I'm glad, 'cause I came to this on my own many years ago-

Mm.
46:15
And as I started to come out of my Lyme disease, I [laughs] you'll appreciate this, I had an angry prayer where I knew with all these abilities that if I'm gonna use them, it's gonna take focus, it's gonna take energy, and it's gonna take a healthy body-

Uh, when someone realizes it's about responses more than eliminating stress, then how do they start? Like, what do they do instead?
3:34
Well, first of all, I wouldn't say it's...
3:36
I would say that it's still about eliminating stress because, um, it's really important to know what things you do react to.
3:46
And perhaps it's a person in your life who is often, uh, making negative comments or making, um, you know, uh, passive-aggressive comments about your weight or your appearance or your excellence, you know, or your achievements and so on.
4:06
And so there is something to be said on that side of the equation about perhaps limiting your contact with that person, perhaps putting more boundaries down with that person so that you don't get set off during the day.
4:20
So those are, those are on one side of the equation.
4:24
Um, on the other side of the equation, I think it's a really a good rule of thumb to acknowledge the reaction as much as you can, and often not take it personally because the truth is a lot of times, not always, it is about the other person.

So, uh, how does this disconnection between the mind and the body, you think this lack of inner calm shows up in one's regular life? Like, what do they notice or maybe what do people around them notice first?
30:37
And we're back.
30:38
So my convoluted path basically is that my husband and I waited a long time to have kids.
30:43
We were high school sweethearts.
30:44
So seven years before we got married.
30:46
And then it was another eight before we had kids.
30:51
During that time, I taught high school for seven years and then went and got my master's at Georgia State for two years.
30:57
And then right after that, I ended up getting a job at the end of my master's work with the symphony, with the Atlanta Symphony.

Oh.
5:10
And a lot of times, honestly, I found myself in unique situations.
5:15
So I think I'm one of those multidimensional people who, at her best, really follows that flow and guidance and inspiration, and it has led me to, you know, becoming a bestselling author, uh, working with, uh, organizations at the UN to fight human trafficking.
5:33
I used to work for Congress.
5:36
Um, you know, and, it, it-- and I was a, I'm a mother.
5:39
You know, so all these different aspects to my life, so I would say that I'm multidimensional.
5:45
Those are all-
