25:23
So we, we gathered these folks, and I noticed this one gentleman.
25:28
He was-- he just looked like the world was hanging off of his shoulders and just trying to somehow come to grips with this extraordinary loss.
25:41
And so the, it was a beautiful fall day, and we walked in silence down this wooded trail.
25:48
And the trail was very windy, but also it went down, down, down, down, as if we were going into the depths of our soul.
25:58
And as we were going, we were in silence, but we were also pointing things out, pointing ways in which the autumn was changing, and leaves were dropping, and nuts were coming, and other aspects of this change that all of these people had, were undergoing because of the loss they suffered.
26:19
And when we got down to the bottom of this hilly trail, there was this extraordinary tulip poplar whose, I don't know, four feet wide.

So in all of these years, with all the beauty in nature that you have experienced, what are one or two of the greatest spiritual lessons that you have learned over the years?
2:14
Let's do this.
2:20
Something magical happens when we're in the natural world, doesn't it? We experience awe and wonder, inspiration, comfort, and peace.
2:31
Is it any wonder that so many of us say that we love nature? But despite this love affair we have with her, the natural world is in really rough shape, primarily due to our own human actions.
2:49
Over the last 30 years, over a billion acres of forest have been lost to deforestation.
2:55
Species are going extinct, hundreds or even thousands times their natural rates.
3:01
And our planet is warming at dangerous levels, causing catastrophic harm for humans and non-humans alike.
3:10
When we say we love nature, do we really mean it? Are we considering her needs? Or does nature exist simply to serve us, to provide us lumber and mineral and fuel and delightful experiences? The Mayo Clinic says that one of the key symptoms of narcissism is the unwillingness to consider the needs of others.
7:32
It's happening July 7th and 8th.
