So for the audience who hasn't met you yet, can you share a little bit about your background?

Betania AlloGUEST
I'm born and raised in Argentina, and after working several years in public policy, I came to the US for grad studies.

Betania AlloGUEST
I did my master's in international relations at Harvard and my master of laws, my LLM at Syracuse University, and I am finishing right now my Doctor of Engineering in cybersecurity analytics at George Washington.

Betania AlloGUEST
After finishing my master's, I started working for the UN in New York in the intersection of international security and law and policy, and mainly how emerging technologies affect international security, both in the perpetration of crimes and also when we look at countering terrorism, organized crime, and cybercrime especially.

Betania AlloGUEST
So after that, I moved to Saudi Arabia [chuckles] to join one of their biggest giga projects, NEOM.

Betania AlloGUEST
It's, if you haven't heard of it, is a smart city that they're building in the middle of the desert from the ground up.

... "to take a certain action." So I'm very curious also is, as you've worked in different countries, 'cause you said you're from Argentina, you studied and you worked some here in the US, and then you moved to Saudi Arabia, is how is the, I guess you would say, the culture around the topic of cybersecurity in the different countries that you've been involved in?
