so that's more lifestyle driven whereas madrid was more work for sure yeah

because i mean that is an interesting one so for example they used to have a villa in minorca which was lovely it was in the port of minorca overlooking the sea lovely view but of course you had to jump in a car to go anywhere and they got to a certain age that They didn't want to do that, so they made the switch to a somewhat livelier place.

And Orca is lovely in the summer, and it's something worth bearing in mind, you know, but it's pretty quiet in the winter, you know? Yeah.

And that can happen to maybe some of the hot spots that haven't got so many years, that are more catered toward holidaymakers.

rather than um you know year-round or long-term residents you know so um again those are things to bear in mind i mean we actually have that kind of filter actually on on find your place you know what what um uh percentage of the population are expats for example that could be of interest to you yeah um you know i mean people do come along with a dream of i'll come along and i'll learn become fluent in spanish etc but the reality is you know you can't just suddenly learn a language that easily you know certainly when you get to a certain age you know so you have to have some uh you know realistic dreams as well so when people talk about integration i mean um what are you looking for you know a lot of people you know many people just want England in the sun yeah you know there's nothing wrong with that that's what you want you know there's areas that are for you you know and if you are looking to fully integrate into a Spanish village, then there's plenty of Spanish villages that'll be very happy to see you.

But, you know, it's, you know, if you've got children or not got children, if you're retiring, obviously work, you know, that kind of thing.
