A scale-up here is a startup there
P

So what does that mean for your daily operations? What do you do in your job?
5:11
I think the scale-up leads, I have many, I want to say I have many questions on that, but That's maybe a difference also here in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, in Europe, that the term scale-up, I think, has shifted quite significantly over the past years.
5:26
Because for me, scale-up used to be a company that has 10 full-time employees, has raised a million in funding.
5:33
But if we do want to be able to compete and compare to our US counterparts, that is a startup.
5:41
Raising a million, especially in other parts of the world, is not that significant.
5:46
But unfortunately, in Europe, in the Netherlands, that is still a significant amount of money.

That's great.
