legacy journalists and long-term people in the industry, which is like, man, it's hard to make it in this industry.

Man, it's not a lot of opportunity.

There's not going to be a lot of career stability.

This is not an industry where there's a ton of job future.

And I think that I now know, five, ten years later, how much that's untrue, how much that's changed because of things like social media.

I guess first we'll just ask, what were your thoughts on the Texans season last year and the way it ended? The

I don't think you can trade away a guy this good, who's been in your franchise for this long, who just had the sack record, and say, "We won the day." With that said, I think overall it's a pretty good return for Myles Garrett at this, you know, okay, at 30 years old, you know, this many years left, this is the dead cap hit.

To get a first, a second, a third, and then Jared Verse, who I think you, you, you without question value Verse at least as a first round pick.

And I think that if y- if the Rams were just trading Verse straight up with two years left on his deal with a fifth year option, I would imagine they would get a first and more for trading that, that caliber of a player.

And so to me, the collective capital they got back, pretty, pretty impressive.

So like at some point running back three was gonna go, and the 49ers said, "Man, given our history drafting middle round running backs, we just have to be the team [laughs] that, that, that starts this run.

We just have to get in front of everybody," with Mike Washington still on the board, with Emmett Johnson still on the board.

"We have to be the team that gets in front of anyb- everybody," for Ballage, who was not a combine invite, which means that the league generally doesn't like him very much.
