Do you think that theory is wrong?
34:28
Good morning there.
34:30
You would ask me, wouldn't you? I can't prove whether it is wrong.
34:35
I think it is unlikely and it is implausible for practical reasons alone.
34:40
If you imagine a cathedral space, and you just had a feature about Gloucester, if you imagine a cathedral space, open, few solid walls, it's very difficult, nigh impossible to hang an artefact like the Bayeux Tapestry in such a way as to really encourage audience engagement.
34:59
And we must remember that the biotapestry includes not just intricate imagery, but also quite a lot of text, you know, with letters about two and a half centimetres tall.
35:09
So as soon as you stand back even 10 metres or so or below an artefact like that, it is very, very difficult to make sense of the text, even decipher individual letters.
35:37
So what kind of intimate setting would that be? And given that obviously it's very, very long, isn't it?
