8:54
What, what do you mean by that?
8:56
Yeah.
8:56
Um, lowering the stakes can help us get started because it can feel like every job application, every interview is so important that we have to be perfect, that we have to nail it.
9:11
But the reality is that most of us, when beginning a job hunt, we bomb at least one interview.
9:19
It's kind of part of the process.
9:21
So often when I'm working with clients who are having a lot of that, uh, anxiety and worry about, uh, that interview, or they get really, really nervous in their interview, um, I, I help them adjust their goal to start with.
9:41
And their first goal isn't get an interview and that leads to a job, it's bomb an interview, you know? Um, not that you should take it unseriously, but that you shouldn't put all your eggs in that basket.
14:08
Say more, Ben, about why... what small steps you can take to lower those stakes when you start applying, uh, and interviewing for jobs.

i like the outlook ben i like the i'm gonna start trying to use the forgiveness word instead of waiting for someone to apologize or getting anything from anybody else if somebody does me wrong you know what man i don't have time for your for the shit whatever i forgive you and i'll just move forward i dwell i dwell on i have this
56:04
uh so i have this thing like you know i i think i was born to like be a warrior of some sort even if it was a bad one um but warrior um yeah with a lot of bad words and uh an anger problem and um and a revenge problem and, um, whole bunch of shit.
56:27
And so I decided when, when I, uh, quit doing my old drinking thing that I'm gonna stop Warren.
56:36
Now you just don't, you don't just quit being a warrior.
56:40
Um, I had to like learn a lot, a few things that was really hard.
56:46
And, uh, eventually I got to this point where I'm like, okay, I want to be in the garden.
56:54
I want to be a gardener.

Hey, when did you transition from shooting mountain bikes into your street stuff? Was that seven years ago?
