So I-- for undergrad, I went to Colgate University, which is a super corporate competitive school, right? When you're, when you're kind of in this stage as like a freshman or a sophomore, and you don't really know what you're gonna do with your life, and everyone around you just talks about getting the best banking job or the best consulting job that they possibly can.

And then, um, I actually, junior year, didn't even do like your traditional banking consulting internship, uh, because I still at the time...

But fast-forward to senior year, and all the interviews started happening, and so I naturally was like, "Okay, well, I think I'm better suited for consulting versus banking, so I'm just gonna start to prepare for my case study interviews and, and go the, go the route of interviewing and see what happens." And every week, like three times a week, I would go to the c- uh, career services office, and one of the advisor, like career advisors, his nephew played on the hockey team, so he had a soft spot for the hockey guys.

So if nothing matters, but what matters is what you choose, why aren't you choosing the things that you value instead of living other people's values? And then every day reminding yourself, reinforcing, "Did I live by my values that day?" And if you can go to bed each night saying yes, then that's an elevated life in my eyes.
