And it's just understanding that there are many different types of artists.

I do believe that stage managers are absolutely creatives.

I believe there is immense artistry in the work that we do.

And that comes from thinking about how to solve those momentary problems that scare the crap out of you.

But, you know, you have to find a creative way to keep telling the story.

I think just about everyone in that theater wants the same thing, right? The cast wants a lovely show.

The crew wants a lovely show.

Putting people first can be revolutionary, even when the show goes on as planned.
