Jason DorlandHOST
Was there a time that you began to appreciate that this was perhaps a generous act and not just the way everyone else responds, that this was extraordinary?

I do for me, I appreciate, uh, you know, the people I do it with the people I do it for, but I can't say that my mind's been changed on how I, how I look at it.

Robyn MeagherHOST
So Ben, in terms of volunteering as a young person, is there anything you want to say about how the impact that that has for young people or what was good for you in that experience?
B

volunteering especially where we volunteered in vancouver and the more densely populated areas that have a little more you know drug exposure or um um really just not the greatest things that you want to see they taught me a lot that i know schooling didn't um tell me about the real world what i you know what could happen to people i know and um It kind of steered me away from a lot of things that, you know, school tries to make you realize, but it's nothing compared to actually seeing it in person.
