Golden Cape Park exhibit is at San Francisco's Hall of Flowers, opens Labor Day weekend and ends October 25th.

Some of our board members have wanted to eventually do some kind of Grateful Dead museum in San Francisco.

The Forever Grateful exhibitions, plural, seemed like a way to road test the idea a little bit and sort of you know, see if we could get the cooperation of collectors who have really important pieces from back in the day, people like the Kesey family who obviously have, you know, arguably the most important piece from that era.

And just to sort of, you know, road test a little bit and see, you know, what a museum could be beyond what we've done at the Haight Street Art Center, you know, month in and month out, which is, I wouldn't say traditional because that sounds boring, but it's kind of, you know, things on the wall and then text explaining it and that kind of stuff.

So this is going to be much more, the Golden Gate Park show is going to be much more interactive.

you Right now we have an exhibition in two locations called Forever Grateful.

And the part of it that's at the Haight Street Arts Center, which I was mostly involved with, is up until September 20.

Stuff like that I really love.

So why don't you give us a little bit of background, and then you can get into your current role in the Magento Association.

So the background of the association is, It goes all the way back to the earliest days of Magento, before Imagine, before really this community had come together to become this massive thing that it became.

When Magento came out, the open source ecosystem in Europe took off more quickly because open source is endemic there.

Magento was a a perfectly timed tool for the market.

So you had like some German folks and some Dutch folks who had like some of the first Magento events, right? Meet Magento.

You had Dutchento.

I think that was Gero Jansen.

But I think some of the closed systems, if you can penetrate them, might actually, if there's a catastrophic breach, it might not be an open source because open sources already got like some durability built in and flex, you know, but I see a massive exploit happening more in closed systems if you can get in there, right? Yeah.

I've reviewed it since then.

It was the worst cover letter in the history of cover letters, but he bit, um, and we met, um, and the rest is history.

Now I told him, I was like, well, I'm, I'm an expert with Zen.

So Magento won't be any problem.

Um, that narrator, that was not the case.

Um, you know, I really had to, I had to really, um, learn a lot in the early days.

And I was wondering if you had a similar experience because obviously your background isn't necessarily in computer science.

Like when you look at this industry and what we have to do and the decisions made daily, whether you're a driver, a carrier, even that dispatcher, they're making hundreds of decisions, if not thousands of small decisions a day that can either make your business successful or not so successful.

Those decisions are just today, right? But that decision leads into a decision tomorrow and another one after that.

So it's a snowball effect, right? If you make a bad decision Monday morning, Friday afternoon, you're not getting the driver home.

You're missing service on a load.

You're not picking up on time.

You have all of those kind of downstream effects that nobody wants to make a bad choice, but they don't have the tools, the information.

Sometimes they just do, right? So we look to help that.

So what's some of the choices that your platform is making to help optimize the carrier's operations?

Now, when it comes specifically to a surprising bit of information that has been shared with you in terms of the usage of OD or just general feedback, I want you to kind of dig deep in this bank right now and think, all right, what is that piece of information, if you could share it with us?

yeah so dispatchers are very creative people right like they have to solve problems all day every day and so i think what's the most surprising to me is is we go through and we spend an enormous amount of time internally building solutions crafting workflows testing developing working and then we release these out to our beta group and then we kind of have a larger goose to everybody else who's on the platform and then without fail somebody finds a different way to use a part of the tool that we never imagined I mentioned Source briefly earlier.

We had one of our customers, I think there's a webinar out there in the internet if you're interested or if the viewers are interested to go look at it.

But we had Source and one of our customers used that to not just fill an immediate need from a backhaul, but they went to some of their customers that they'd been knocking on doors for years and never been able to get their foot in the door and said, We get it, we don't have any contract business with you, but if you let us have access to your overflow freight, we've got a tech solution that'll help us service it the best way possible.

Let us prove to you that we're a value add carrier to your portfolio.

And then went through that way.

Another is we have our own version of a large language model named Atlas.
