Why do you think there has been that, you know, clash sometimes between builder and architect over the years? And I would also preface by saying, I think like over the last few years, it's changed a lot, but it still comes, it's still that sort of like, you know, tension that can sometimes come in between architect and builder? What do you think that's down to?

I guess it's probably just a lack of general understanding of what each other does and what we bring to the table.

I think it's getting better and we like to think that we work well with builders on site and with all the people involved in a project.

We're certainly don't pretend that we know everything.

We kind of have a good understanding of how we want something to be achieved and the end result, but we're not too proud to ask questions and find the best way to get to that answer.

And I think part of what What we as a practice kind of pride ourselves on is being involved during construction as well and actually learning from that.

There's nothing, there's no better way to learn than to draw something, see how it's interpreted on site, figure out if there is a better way to do it and then how better to draw it next time.
