Ben LefebvreGUEST
especially this latest go-around of higher prices, is that President Trump came out on, I believe it was Wednesday, and said, we're not going to be bothering ending this war, at least through the midterms.

Ben LefebvreGUEST
This is going to be going on through, you know, right after the midterms, we're going to declare peace, which is... whatever you want to think of that statement, you know, but the messaging in that is basically don't expect us to end this before November.

Ben LefebvreGUEST
That has really caused prices to go up at a higher rate in the past few days because in the past there was always this thought, well, let's not get too crazy because the war could end tomorrow and you know, we're bidding up oil too high.

Ben LefebvreGUEST
But now with this tacit admission that, yeah, we're not going to declare peace anytime soon, everyone's like, oh boy, let's start getting as much oil as we can because we're seeing tankers explode.
