But I do think that Australia, and I've had the, I've had the opportunity to go along to a few citizenship ceremonies in Brisbane City Council, and Brisbane City Council does it at City Hall, and, uh, you, you're talking hundreds of people at the same time with probably thousands in the audience watching.

Ben DullroyGUEST
And it is an interesting experience to go along to because it does remind you of the values of Australian citizenship, but als-also the value that the new Australians place on citizenship.

Ben DullroyGUEST
And I think what we need to do as a society i-is probably lift the bar in terms of the way that we value Australian citizenship as well.

Ben DullroyGUEST
And there's certain things that we should say, "Hey, these are non-negotiables." And I think English i-is a great example there, that w- that i-if you can't speak English, we need you to speak to a certain level of, o-of English, so it means that you can communicate with your fellow Australians.

Ben DullroyGUEST
So it's no longer about It's no longer going to be workable for a small target strategy.

Ben DullroyGUEST
And that contest of ideas is going to start churning out a different vision for Australia.
