so you'd probably agree that right now in this current time in this current moment it's pretty hard for a first-time fund to get off the ground yes okay what advice would you give a first-time fund manager out there raising capital at this moment in time.
B
73:03Ben ChoiGUEST
Yeah, it's back to that other, it's similar to and parallels the advice to a founder raising capital, right? It's fundraising is sales and sales is listening for needs and wants and offering a solution for that.
B
73:24Ben ChoiGUEST
It was artificially, quote, easy because there's just so much demand from supply capital demand for venture from LPs.
B

And there was such a rush to get access to tech or venture that the dollars were less discriminating.

And so when we went through that refounding moment, my partners and I sat down and the first thing we did once we were kind of at the handshake, we're going to do this, was we took two days off and we talked through values and we talked about values What are we going to build our culture on? What are we going to build our strategy on? What's going to be the foundation of the operating model for how we're going to go out leading this organization? I won't go through all of them.
B
8:27Ben ChoiGUEST
There are five founding values, but one of them was, they're all reflections of sort of my personal values, different articulations.
