What was it like being the person that everyone relies on while quietly feeling like you weren't enough?

If somebody said, wow, you're really smart, then I was smart.

I think somebody did say to me, you should be a nurse.

You're really good to take care of people.

I thought, well, okay, yeah, I'll be a nurse.
